Meet the Maker:



Art designed by former foster youth, Embo who spent three years in the foster care system before aging out. 

When telling others others how to help youth who have aged out of foster care, she says, “Be present - meet us where we are and remain consistent. Safe relationships feel out of the norm when all you know is dysfunctional relationships. We don't need perfect, we need present.”

She is full of wisdom and insight when it comes to speaking of her experiences and inspiring others. Embo dreamed of being able to sell journals to give others a way to express themselves. She has found deep healing through journaling in her own life.
